( The dialogues of ‘Love’s Savage Fury’; a classic comics by Mark Newcarden)

I saw you on the subway.

I smiled.

You ignored me.

I want to see you again….

In case I forgot what you look like!

I rode the same train for 3 years.

And I never saw you again.

Or maybe I just forgot what you looked like.

And one day it just came back.

I got off quickly.,

purposely dropping the polaroid,

leaving to wonder why I bothered!

There are some weird days when nothing goes right, and to make it more weird nothing goes wrong either.

Only one hour is left for today. And I can’t clearly remember was there anything special to note or not. I spend the most time of the day in bus. And through the windows of the bus I have seen some bizzarre things. I saw a man is slapping a girl (probably his girlfriend) … I saw a boy is blowing a baloon in another bus… I saw many other things that I can’t remember now.

I want to make next few days special. I want to make some change. I am bored!

Song: Carnival Of Rust
Album: Carnival Of Rust

d’ you breath the name of your saviour in your hour of need,
n’ taste the blame if the flavor should remind you of greed,
of implication, insinuation and ill will, till’ you cannot lie still,
in all this turmoil, before red cape and foil closing in for a kill

come feed the rain
cos i’m thirsty for your love dancing underneath the skies of lust

yeah feed the rain
cos without your love my life ain’t nothing but this carnival of rust

it’s all a game, avoiding failure, when true colors will bleed
all in the name of misbehavior and the things we don’t need
i lust for after no disaster can touch us anymore
and more than ever, i hope to never fall, where enough is not the same it was before

come feed the rain…

don’t walk away, don’t walk away, oh, when the world is burning
don’t walk away, don’t walk away, oh, when the heart is yearning

Help People

Made this poster few days ago… to help raise fund for cyclone affected people…

You may find a way to help here

Or you may spread this poster along with a link…

On a weekday afternoon in New York, a man carrying a large suitcase stopped in the middle of a busy block and proceeded to gaze skyward. He remained motionless, and a small, curious crowd collected- all scanning the sky for something umusual. At the opportune moment, he bent down, opened the suitcase and began to peddle his wares- Binoculars!

(collected)

Moral of the story: Don’t wait for the opportunity, go create the opportunity. (it is the most likely moral, what do you think, huh?)

Different day.

Same old shit.

How I got stuck in such a constant pause! I’m hurling myself in light and darkness, like a bug. My soul is getting older with each swing, getting tired, getting weak. There’s no satan left to buy it! Everyone leaves. Demons and angels- everybody is in a hurry. Eventually all have an identical face behind those colorful wrapping papers.

I’m just waiting. I’m just counting each eternal minute. For what? For whom? Don’t ask me. I don’t know.

Let me whisper. Let me listen to the melancholy monologue of the wind. Let us talk about those days when I was able to separate illusion and imagination. All those days are now playing hide-n-seek in the maze of my mind. All my life is now sleeping inside the blue ashtray. All that 23 years I’ve walked so far is burnt.

Ash to ash.

Dust to dust.

Yet once again, I feel sorry for myself that I could not die even for a single time in all these 23 years of my lifetime!

Failure

In this time of immense opportunities surrounding you, it is pretty much tough to be a failure. You have to grow a passion for success, if you can’t- they will make you successful. Self-development gurus, helping books, huge number of sites and blogs- everybody is pushing you to become a success. You know all the secrets to achieve success and eventually, to some extend you will be. Success means money, achivement, better freedom… so many oh-so-good factors.

But have you ever thought about these facts? Successful people work day and night, sometimes for others. But if you were a failure, you don’t have to work at all! People envy successful people, sometimes even try to create trouble. If you are a failure, everyone worries about you. You know, everybody loves the underdog! Successful people often get so much busy that they cannot even sleep well. Well, failures can sleep enough, even in daytime.

How, then, can a smart man achive failure? You think it’s easy? Nope! It requires as much skill to become a truly outstanding failure as it takes to become truly successful in any field. Now, here goes some good ways which will be helpful for you to become a total failure.

1. Get something to fail at: At first, you have to have something where you can fail miserably. You should get a job, preferably a series of jobs!

2. Avoid doing real work: Don’t do anything which may add anything for your job (where you are trying to fail). Learn to goof off. Leave things half-done is a better way than totally not-doing. Talk as as much as you can, but never try to to prove what you spoke.

3. Use “Yeah, but…”: Don’t be a ‘yes-man’. This ‘yes word is dangerous! You may fail in your attept to fail by using this, even might get promoted! The safest phrase is “yeah, but..”. It can be used at any level. If you are an executive you can paralyse your progress by saying, ‘Yeah, but I don’t think there’s any point doing this so hastily”.

4. Don’t fall in love with your work: Make it sure, as the real enemy of failure is the thrill of achievement. So, watch out for the moment when pride begins to creep into your work.

5. Get rid of demanding people around you: Do you have anyone who is constantly pushing you to go after something? To do something? Try to avoid him/her. Just leave it behind, if you can’t then use something to block your ears!

Lastly, it is really important to be able to avoid good luck. A simple stroke of good luck can suddenly make you a success! So, be aware!

Worst of luck!

The Fray – How To Save A Life lyrics

Artist: The Fray
Album: How To Save A Life
Year: 2005
Title: How To Save A Life

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it’s just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
You begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you’ve told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you’ve followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he’ll say he’s just not the same
And you’ll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life
How to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life…

Here’s a guy betting with you that you are going to live, and you are betting him that you are going to die, and you hope he wins, and they charge you for thinking that way. When you will die, they will be lost at the bet, so they will have to pay!

Yahoo and Adobe unveiled a  plan today to serve contextual ads within PDF files — one of the last bastions of (mostly) ad-free space on the internet.

Yahoo and Adobe will partner to allow publishers to run dynamically generated ads on PDF files posted on the Web or distributed via e-mail, opening up a new frontier in online advertising.

Until now, publishers have been able to embed only static ads on PDF files, but Yahoo and Adobe are developing a system to make those documents display contextually relevant ads delivered on the fly from Yahoo’s inventory at any given time.

The inclusion of pay-per-click text ads on PDF (Portable Document Format) files will give publishers another revenue-generating option for the content they have in this popular Adobe document format, said Kurt Garbe, entrepreneur in residence for advertising at Adobe.

This technology will probably be beneficial for the two companies as well as the advertisers. But how will it affect us, the common users? Will it add any new dimention to our web experience? Will it benefit us? What do you think?
